| Brian Terry, at the age of 28, is the oldest son of the former keyboard player (David Terry). Brian began his music interest in middle school playing the trumpet. He played the trumpet all through middle school and high school going to compete with some of the top trumpet players around the county and state during those times. In high school he learned to play the drums and with the help of his father, David, he also learned how to play the Keyboards. It wasn't until after high school, Brian picked up a bass guitar and started learning how to play it. Brian grew up with the Carousels and became a member 8 years ago as their sound technician. After many, many years of making the Carousels sound good, he finally stepped on stage about 5 years ago. When first stepping on stage, Brian had his work cut out for him, helping the Carousels record their first CD, "Living On A Good Thing". Brian currently works for the City of Jacksonville as a Pretreatment Facilities Technician and has been with them for 6 years now. He recently married the love of his life, Amanda, in June 2010. They had their first son, Bentley Allen Terry, born December 9, 2010. His musical talents are outstanding and he does not have a shy bone in his body. He enjoys playing music and putting on a show for the public. Come see and talk to Brian the next time we play. E-mail Brian @: brianterry@thecarouselband.com |
