


| Steve Letchworth, a singer and keyboard player, from Goldsboro, NC has been playing music for about 33 years now. He started out in 1977 doing a one man show singing and playing piano. He performed at lounges, civic clubs, country clubs, private parties and festivals thru out North Carolina. At the end of the seventies he did a brief stint as keyboard player with the band for the New Century Platters. In the early eighties, Steve and four other local musicians started up a rock n roll band called "Turnstyle". “Turnstyle” played many venues thru out North Carolina and opened shows for renowned bands, such as Foghat, Steppenwolf, Molly Hachett, Nantucket, and Sidewinder. In the mid eighties, Steve join a country and southern rock band call "Crossfire", playing in dance clubs, festivals and private parties thru out eastern North Carolina. At the end of 1993 Steve took a break from playing out to start his own business, Water Works Irrigation, Inc., in which he currently still runs. Steve has thru out his career has enjoyed writing songs and recording. Steve currently enjoys playing in Goldsboro Worship Center's praise and worship band. Steve quotes exactly how he feels, ''Music has always been a heartfelt expression to me, God has given me this talent to share with him and others, I thank him for it.'' Steve enjoys playing all type of music as you can see from his resume. Steve joined The Carousels in October 2009 replacing David Terry after many years of dedication. Steve has also recently started up a one man show again playing for all occasions. Steve is married to wife, Athena and has 3 great children, Brian, Matthew and Sara. Steve is looking forward to the experience with The Carousels and continues to surprise all of us every time he performs.
